"Don’t be afraid to be you and own it. If you think being a leader is about having some agenda, it’s not. Being a leader is actually being completely with who you are and speaking from that place, giving feedback, sharing opinions from that place. That’s why people follow you."
Danae Ringelmann, co-founder and CDO of Indiegogo
Hello Young Ladies! Its time, we break the thoughts and change it completely by our steps toward innovation. An event for every woman in technology, ‘WLiT Bootcamp 2015', a Technical and Professional Workshop starts today. The event is jointly organized jointly by Women Leaders in Technology, Robotics Association Nepal [RAN], Women LEAD Nepal and Karkhana “make break innovate”, the transitioning ladders for origination of a creation.
The number of women participation is always found less in technology. And have you ever have that zeal to change it? The vision of this boot camp is to empower young women, to help them become innovators in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
We’ve experienced it, the feel when someone calls you incapable and we are aware that a difference will always persist between the followers and the creators. So, why not vote for yourself, where do you think you want to stand?
With the supportive hands of WLiT, you will gain a solid exposure in technical line. The entire curriculum is designed to excel the technical skills in you. The event is 2 weeks long (June 21 to July 4); in the first week, the participants will learn technical and leadership skills and the following week will be about developing a product (an android app).
WLiT Bootcamp 2015 is starting from today! The guidance and mentorship from the bootcamp will help participants implement what they have learnt in the long run J
