While the Youth Speak Forum has already taken place in several locations worldwide, it will be the first one in Nepal in May 21st in Hotel Shangri-la from 8:30am to 5pm. The Youth Speak Forum is the place where youths will gather and engage in discussing about the results of the survey and facilitate to develop a project they want to work on to have an impact on their societies.
Linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the UN has formulated and, aims to achieve until the year 2030, the Youth Speak Forum is a unique way to give the youth not only a power to the voice -- but also the chance to act. The initiative Youth for Global Goals which is powered by AIESEC, aims to achieve the leadership potential of young people around the world by engaging and mobilizing them through purposeful and cross-cultural projects around the globe. All projects are designed to support the implementation of the SDGs.
The main topic for the Youth Speak Forum will be based on the theme of SDG's: Quality education, No Poverty and Gender equality. The Keynote Speakers are:
      1)      Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, Associate Dean of KUSOM
      2)      Shisir Khanal, CEO of Teach for Nepal for quality education.   
      3)      A speaker for ADB for No poverty
      4)      Deputy Director Ms. Krisitne Bolkhuis of UNFPA for Gender Equality.
Youth Speak Forum has partnered with Teach for Nepal, UNYAP, UNV, UNFPA, ADB, World Vision Nepal, and Government of Nepal for Youth speak Forum NEPAL. It is also supported by Laxmi Steels and Sarbottam cement as Premium Sponsor for Youthspeak Forum, Qatar airways as Gold Sponsor.
