KU IT Meet is back again this year with the aim of promoting innovation, building networks amongst various IT students, and providing a center stage for various IT students to learn and showcase their IT skills. The event is organized by Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC) and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The event shall be held at IT Park, Kavre, Banepa from January 5 to January 6, 2018. The event has already started with the completion of various pre-events. The pre-events of the IT meet included JS Workshop, Locus 2018, Verisk’s Cloud Talk Program, React Js Workshop, Design Workshop, Machine Learning Workshop, Alpha Go Movie Screening, and Layout design workshop.   The event comprises various competitions such as gaming competitions, hackathons, coding competitions, software and hardware competitions, and various other competitions. These events will allow the students from various colleges to compete and showcase their skills in front of various other participating colleges. This will also allow the students to build networks with IT students from various colleges. There will be stalls from various colleges that will be displaying the different technical skills of the participants.   The pre-events had a few workshops and so will the main events. The participants will get to learn various skills through different workshops that shall be organized.   All in all, this event promises to be a hub for the participants to expand their knowledge in the IT field, show their skills, and most importantly build networks with IT professionals, Entrepreneurs,s and students from various colleges.   Sparrow SMS is the SMS partner of the event whereas Khalti is the digital payment partner of the event.
