Kathmandu, 11 April 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada has been crowned ‘Miss Nepal World 2018’. She was crowned with the title at the beauty pageant grand finale held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, April 11. Along with Miss Nepal World, Khatiwada also won two more titles — Miss Beautiful Hair and Yamaha Miss Fascino. She will represent Nepal in the upcoming Miss World Pageant. Meanwhile, Ronali Amatya, Priya Sigdel, and Manita Devkota won the titles of Miss Nepal International, Miss Nepal Earth, and Miss Nepal Universe respectively The Hidden Treasure made the event a grand success! All four winners won a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 each. Meanwhile, Khatiwada also received Yamaha Fascino Scooter, Colors S11 phone, and tickets from Turkish and Thai Airlines. The winners will represent Nepal in various pageants around the world — Sigdel will participate in Miss Earth in the Philippines, and Devkota will compete for Miss Universe in China. Other title winners included — Sayara Lama (Miss Friendship), Mahima Singh (Miss Photogenic), Laxmi Poudel (Miss Punctual), Ashma Dhungana (Miss Intellectual), Megha Shrestha (Miss Athlete), Aastha Saakha (Miss Confident) and Sandhya Adhikari (Miss Popular Choice). A total of 25 ladies from across the nation were selected for the final race in the competition.

The audition had started for Miss Nepal 2018 in Kathmandu on February 19, 2018. As per THT, the pageant experience is a lifetime opportunity for the young enthusiastic women and to become the role models for the upcoming youths. Each SMS vote is important! Through weekly lucky draw, one voter will get the invitation for the Grand Finale. The talent round is on Chaitra 13, 2074 (March 27, 2018). Twenty-five contestants has been selected for the final round and will participate in seven weeks of comprehensive training from specialists such as choreographer Rachana Gurung Sharma and photographer Raj Bhai Suwal, and among others. Four women from all over the country will be nominated from the grand finale to represent the country at international pageants such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth, and Miss International.
