The students who have got a GPA 4.0 have scored A+ which is Outstanding, likewise, the student scored 3.6 is A which is Excellent. The students scoring 2.4 is C+ which is Satisfactory, and the students scoring 2.0 is C which is Acceptable. The government of Nepal has recently introduced a system in the educational field, which ensures that no student appearing in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) exams will be provided with a ‘Fail’ certificate. The grading system has replaced the system of awarding marks in each subject that has been in practice for the last 80 years since the first SLC exams took place in 1934 A.D. GPA Grading System The office of examinations of controllers (OCE) has been publishing SEE results through grade system since 2073 B.s. Usually, there would be an A-F grading. But, in Nepal, it works a bit different. There are 9 grades, which are A+, A, B+, B, C+, C, D, E, and N with GPA raging from 0 to 4.   A+ refers to ‘Outstanding” that will be given to students scoring 90 to 100, A to students scoring between 80 and 89, B+ to those scoring 70 and 79, B to score between 60 and 69, C+ to scores between 50 to 59, and C to scores between 40 and 49. Likewise, D would be given to scores between 20 and 39, E to scores between 1 and 19 and N represents ‘not graded’would be given to students who remained absent or were expelled from the academic organization.
