So, thinking about what to do next after SEE and what career options are? Here are some of the career options that you can choose from: +2 National Examination Board Developed by NEB and associated with the Government of Nepal. There are 3 streams within it that students can choose from. Science: English and Nepali are required subjects, and students must choose between Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Biology is an optional subject in +2 that would allow him/her to be eligible for medical school and pursue a B.Sc. in various fields such as microbiology, pharmacology, medical technology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, and so on. Engineering disciplines such as civil, computer, or software engineering and other engineering faculties may be pursued by students with Physics and Mathematics. Commerce and Management: Management courses are university-level courses that help students improve their professional marketing, accounting, and administrative skills. A management course’s goal is to prepare students for work as office managers, small-company owners, or corporate employees by broadening their skill set in a regularly used business field. A management course’s credits can be credited toward a Master in Business Administration (MBA), an associate’s degree in management, or a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Students are currently interested in travel and tourism, as well as hotel management and culinary arts. Humanities: Humanities include a wide range of disciplines, including social sciences, arts, economics, and even dance and music. It is also a subject for politicians because it includes history, and it is also for those who wish to become psychologists. A-Levels Cambridge University in the United Kingdom is linked with the A-levels program. It has grown in popularity among Nepali students since, in A-levels, students are not required to choose courses that they do not want to do. A-level students have the option of choosing their subjects, even if the fields may conflict. They can take Economics, Biology, and Chemistry all at once, or one topic from each field separately, such as Chemistry, Sociology, and Business Studies. Environmental Management, Psychology, Geography, and Tourism are just a few of the new disciplines that have recently been added to the curriculum. LAW The National Examination Board’s Ten Plus Two (+2) curriculum in Law is a two-year program (NEB). If you want to start a job in the administrative or legal area, a law degree is the best way to get started. Candidates for admission to the Ten Plus Two (+2) Law program must have a minimum GPA of 1.6. Education A two-year higher secondary program in Education, which is a formal program for primary school teachers, is offered by higher secondary institutions. Primary teacher training programs are also organized by the Ministry of Education. A two-year Certificate in Education is available on TU. An SLC qualification is the bare minimum. It can be extended to a Bachelor’s degree for a year or three. Forestry This topic is likewise a noble endeavour in forest conservation and limiting the increasing environmental deterioration. Nepal has two forestry institutions, one in Hetauda and the other in Pokhara, both of which are connected with Tribhuvan University and offer certificate and bachelor’s degree programs. Advanced training in forestry and natural resource conservation and management is provided in this course. Other tasks include forestry research and the development of Nepal-specific technology. The Institute of Forestry’s campuses include laboratories, woodlots, arboreta, horticulture research farms, computer centres, and other amenities. Agriculture and Veterinary CTEVT offers a three-year agribusiness and veterinary practice diploma. This is the same as +2 or I.Sc. The Rampur Campus in Chitwan is the country’s first government institution that offers both general agriculture and veterinary programs. If you have Pure Science at IS.c or +2, you can apply for the BSc. Agriculture and veterinary courses are also available at the Bachelor’s level at the Himalayan Institute of Agriculture and Science and Technology. For SLC students, CTEVT offers an agriculture Junior Technical Assistant (JTA) programme. After JTA, a year of Junior Technician is comparable to Is.c. Sanskrit Students can pursue Sanskrit courses after completing S.L.C. Several colleges offer the intermediate course both inside and beyond the valley, all of which are connected with Mahendra Sanskrit University. After completing Uttar Madhyama, students can enrol in Shastri, a bachelor’s level program, and subsequently Acharya, a master’s level program. Hospitality Management Globally, the field of hospitality management is expanding. Access to colleges such as NATHM (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Management) is restricted to those who have completed the intermediate level. They do, however, offer certain short-term training in waiters, room boys, cooks, travel agents, housekeeping, front desk, and bartending, among other things. After seriously completing these courses, students can advance their careers in a variety of hotels, restaurants, and administrative organizations. Fine Arts The subject is ideal for those who are creative. There are several Fine Arts colleges in and around the valley that offer intermediate Fine Arts courses. At the Intermediate level, students can learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and sculpture. The subjects English and Nepali are required. While some colleges do not offer graphic design courses, others, such as the Institute of Fine Arts in Ganabahal, a newly opened Fine Arts institution, do. Classes on classical instruments, classical dances, textile design, and other topics are provided later in the course. Confused about the Result of SEE at Sparrow SMS?
