While we are certain you have already mapped out your plans for SEE with family and friends, some people might not be clear on the details. Students must decide what they want to do after completing the SEE Examinations. The SEE result will be published in due time. You will not be under any pressure to take the exams. Now is the time to look at yourself and make changes that will help you achieve positive results. You can have fun while you wait for the results. There are at least two months to do nothing. After passing the SEE exam, here are some suggestions: 1. Participate in the entrance preparation class It is not enough to pass SEE. Before you choose which college to join, you should establish your career goals. You can also consider taking a bridge course to help you choose the right college. You should choose the subject that best suits your career goals. 2. Day hikes You will find many places to hike around Kathmandu. Comfortable shoes are important as you’ll be walking. We recommend Nagarjun, Chisapani Shivapuri Sundarijal Nagarkot, Dhulikhel and Chisapani for day hikes. It’s not too far but it’s also not too close. Walking is easy in this area. These trips are very affordable and you will make lasting memories with friends you might not get to see often. 3. Explore and learn about Kathmandu Many of us were born in Kathmandu and raised there, but we never took the time to appreciate its beauty. The free time after SEE offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the city’s nooks and corners. It doesn’t matter if you want to just relax in one of Kathmandu’s durbar squares, or go on a mission to find the best soda stall or tea house in the area. Having a group of friends is a great way of passing the time. You never know what you might find or what you will learn. 4. Leadership classes You can’t do many things in your life because you lack confidence. Leadership training can increase your confidence. You will gain a thorough understanding of the characteristics of a strong leader and the ability to apply these skills in the future. 5. Fitness With all the time you have, there is no better time to begin worrying about your health. It might be difficult to find the time to begin a fitness program when you return to school. Join a gym if you care more about your body. Start the treadmill, love your weight and watch your life change. Dancing is also one of the ways to burn fat. 6. Read novels Reading books has many benefits. It can be hard to get motivated to read a book when you can only watch a few minutes of a movie. You will gain useful knowledge and exercise your brain. 7. Learn to drive We are sure you will agree that the sooner you learn how to drive, the better. Start with a scooter or motorbike and work your way up to four-wheelers. It won’t take long to learn and you will be able to use it for many years to come. You can ask a friend or relative to help you if it’s a scooter or motorbike. 8. Volunteering Although volunteering may sound monotonous, it is the best way to make new friends and learn new things. Start volunteering and feel proud of yourself. To do this, you need to first consider your interests. If you are an animal lover, then find an organization that supports animals. In my initial days, I used to work as an account associate in the leading Travel Agency where I used to perform financial and administrative tasks and maintained public relationships with people and clients. This was the beginning and I had a thought that I can do my best in the near future and one day I will be an asset for the employers where I work for. It was the start of my business career. Then I joined one of the multinational companies where I was the Lead Finance Department. Now I’m here in Sparrow SMS, one of the country’s largest Value-Added Service (VAS) providers. “The only way to do a job is to love what you do” quote from Steve Jobs inspires me very much. For I do not regard my work as merely a task. This is always the responsibility that has been delegated to me. When it comes to performance, I believe that time management is critical. All team members should work together to achieve a better outcome. Even if everyone performs well, situations can become critical at times. That is how you transform from an ordinary person to a creative person. And this overall process transforms a startup organization into a leading one. Throughout this journey, I have expanded my skillset and faced numerous challenges. Then I always try to find problems and find ways to overcome the organization’s potential future risks. I am a highly motivated individual who strives to achieve new and challenging goals. My previous challenges have greatly aided me in tackling each and every difficulty in an easy manner. With my previous experience, I am even able to manage my juniors. Now I am also prepared for my upcoming challenges. The best moment of my professional career occurred when I received a phone call from Janaki Technology (Sparrow SMS) informing me that I had been selected as a Business Development Officer. Despite not having an IT background, I was very familiar with Sparrow SMS, thanks to SLC results. Sparrow SMS was the first VAS service provider to offer results via SMS. I was very interested in learning about all of the products and features offered by Sparrow SMS, as well as how they work. In October of 2019, I started working at Sparrow SMS as a Business development officer. The sector, as well as the environment, were both new to me. I was nervous as well, but the other employees quickly helped me adjust to the environment. Our entire team of 16 members was enthusiastic, entertaining, and most importantly, helpful in all aspects of work. They were also very encouraging, which aided in the development of my skills. We also participated in the GBG biz fest 2020, which was held at DAV school and promotes start-up businesses. It was a very exciting and fruitful event from both an individual and a business standpoint. Our team was always dedicated to ensuring that our clients got the most out of our services. We believe in the power of text and were dedicated to our slogan. We not only provide our services to clients, but we also assist them in their business promotion activities and provide them with ideas on how SMS service can be useful and beneficial to their business. Every day, I sharpened my personal skills. Another significant milestone occurred when we partnered with Nepal Traffic to provide service for E Chalan, which would benefit Nepalese citizens in general. We also provided services to various labs for Covid Reports and NGO/INGO for sending SMS in Nepal’s rural areas to raise awareness about Covid. I was promoted to senior business development officer gradually and steadily. For our 10th anniversary, we celebrated at Dasinkali Village Resort, and for our 11th anniversary, we went to Pataleban Resort. It was a great way to refresh the team and have fun with all of the team members. Aside from that, we attended a number of events. Today marks the 12th anniversary of our company. I am grateful and happy to be a part of our Janaki family for many more years to come, as well as to be a part of other milestones that we will achieve in the coming years.
